With a strong desire to help clients plan for the future, Todd Spignardo, Esq. concentrates his law expertise on the practice of trust and estates law and business planning. As a Senior Associate with Zell Law, Todd prepares estate plans for a wide range of clients, from assisting young couples in planning for the needs of their children, to assisting entrepreneurs with sophisticated business succession planning.
With over ten years of practice experience, Todd regularly advises clients in structuring and preparing intricate revocable and irrevocable trusts, basic estate planning (i.e., wills, medical directives, and powers of attorney). He also has experience assisting our clients with family limited partnerships and limited liability companies, life insurance vehicles, charitable giving arrangements, and asset protection planning.
Todd received his bachelor's degree in political science from the College of Charleston in 1998 and graduated from George Mason University School of Law in 2001. After law school, he began his practice with a boutique tax firm assisting clients with estate planning, business planning, and taxpayer representation. Todd is admitted to practice in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.
Outside of his professional life, Todd enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, fishing, coaching little league, cooking, and driving the minivan.
